About Us
The Round Rock Area Arts Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness of art and cultural activities offered in the greater Round Rock area. It proactively promotes the efforts of local artists and performers by highlighting their work at the annual Imagine event held in February of each year, providing website links to other arts non-profits in Round Rock, and rotating the work of local visual artists in ArtSpace.
Long-term goals include promotion and implementation of cultural and performing arts venues and recruitment of the “creative class” to add to the vitality of Round Rock.
Join the council at its new gallery, ArtSpace, located downtown at 221 E. Main Street. Open Thursday-Sunday and managed by volunteers, the delightful gallery rotates exhibits every two weeks. The gallery opened in May, 2010. We appreciate the City of Round Rock for its growing support of the arts.
