CHALK WALK DATES + TIMES

Friday, October 6, 2017 – 5:00pm-10:00m

Saturday, October 7, 2017 – 10:00am-7:00pm

INFORMATION FOR ARTISTS

  • A free 48 color pastel chalk set is provided with each registration.
  • This is a rain or shine event.
  • There is a MANDATORY artist check-in on Thursday, October 5th from 5:00-7:00pm. Artists will receive their designated chalk area, pastel chalk set, and other important items and information.
  • Artists will be allocated a 10’x10′ street space to work on during the event.
  • Artwork may be any size, not to exceed the 10’x10′ space.
  • Artists may check in as early as Thursday evening between 5:00-7:00pm, and work through Saturday at 5:00 pm. Judging will begin at 5:00 pm and Awards Ceremony will be at 6:30 pm.

  • In consideration of the opportunity to display my work to the public, and other good and valuable consideration, the adequacy and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, I, the undersigned artist, hereby agree that by creating my art at the Chalk Walk Art & Music Festival, I consent to the terms of this festival and certify that the art that I am submitting is my original art and that I am the author and creator of such art.

    In exchange for the above recited consideration, I, my heirs, successors and assigns hereby release and hold harmless the Round Rock Arts, its' board of directors, staff, sponsors and affiliated entities and their heirs, successors, and assigns for any damage or loss of property related to the submission of my art pursuant to this agreement.

    I acknowledge that Round Rock Arts reserves the right to accept or deny any entry with or without cause. I agree that the artwork I create will be family friendly. I further agree to grant RRA permission to publish in all media, my name, artwork, and my location for use in press releases, print, television, and the internet. I further agree to participate in a program whereby the RRA may release such information to other persons and entities. I acknowledge that I have read and understand all terms contained in this Artist Agreement and agree to be bound by its terms.
