Collaborative Art Project

Help us make Giant Crochet Hearts!

Thank you to local resident Natalie Weichel for this inspiration. Natalie worked on the massive and beautiful Urchin Project with Choi+Shine Architects that was showcased in Singapore.

We invite YOU to participate in our own Community Art Collaboration, working with others from the safety of your own home. Especially after a year like 2020, we know that a human connection is essential to our well-being. We have come up with a plan where we can connect while socially distanced, working together yet safely apart. Your contribution to the project becomes something much bigger.

Join us to spread a little hope! Our vision for this project is to bring the community together with the mission to spread kindness, positivity and love. Together, we can create something big, happy and fun!

Free ZOOM sessions about the Crochet Project

Natalie will share a bit about her involvement in the Urchin project and show us some simple crochet techniques to add to our own collaborative project. Whether you love to crochet or would like to learn, this is for you.

January 9th, 3:00pm: Art Talk and Learn to Crochet Tutorial. Bring along a crochet hook and some yarn (any type & size) OR just watch and shop later.

January 16th and 23rd, 3:00pm: Hang out and social hour on Zoom. Chat and get help from others in the community. All ages welcome.
