Step outside industry standard and learn Wendy Layne’s drawing techniques using Faber Castell Albrecht Durer watercolor pencils to turn pictures of doors taken in Europe into beautiful watercolor paintings.

Learn how to approach a photo of a door and to convert the photo to an interesting composition. Learn to blend and create beautiful gradient colors with ease using Faber Castell’s professional Albrecht Durer watercolor pencils.

Supplies Included:

  1. 21 Faber Castell Albrecht Durer Watercolor Pencils
  2. 1 Sheet of Glassine Paper
  3. 1 Manual Pencil Sharpener
  4. Stonehenge Aqua HotPress and Coldpress Watercolor Paper by Legion Paper
  5. Doors and Gates of Europe Reference Photos to choose from or bring your own!
  6. Access to Wendy Layne streaming videos
  7. Black and White Faber Castell PITT pens

Suggested Materials to Bring:

  1. Your own Waterbrush (will have some for use in class)
  2. Your own reference photos of doors (or use the ones I provide from my own photos)
