Meet Our Volunteer Curator

Lisa Zinna is a self-proclaimed idea person, photographer, and collage artist. She is captivated by digital editing, layering, and coloration. Pouring a perfectly smooth and shiny resin coating over her prints is an obsession.
She had been a casual photographer for many years while working at IBM as a technical writer, but slowly practiced and perfected her craft over the past 7 years to create her signature “color crazy photo art”.
Since retirement four years ago, it’s been nonstop art making, along with volunteering in the arts. Lisa has been helping out with Round Rock Arts for the past three years. She is the Texas State University (Round Rock campus) Gallery Chair where she curates the immense wall space at the Avery Center.
She loves meeting the artists and seeing the creativity in the community. She is thrilled that she gets to showcase our artists’ work in such beautiful spaces and work with the other volunteers that also care so deeply about promoting the arts and our artists.
