Round Rock Arts is thrilled to announce the return of one of our most beloved art shows: “Imagine”! This exhibition will showcase the finest artwork our region has to offer, set against the stunning backdrop of the Avery Building at Texas State University in Round Rock.
Artists, it’s time to unleash your creativity and submit your best work for consideration. With “Imagine” as our theme, we encourage you to interpret it in your own unique way. Whether it’s through painting, sculpture, or mixed media, we want to see your perspective come to life.
The show will feature a diverse range of 2D and 3D artworks, spanning all sizes. Larger pieces are preferred, as the expansive wall space across two floors of the building provides the perfect canvas for grand expressions. However, we also welcome smaller works, particularly sculptures suitable for display in our glass case.
A special reception will take place where prizes will be awarded to standout pieces. We can’t wait to witness the IMAGINEation and talent of our vibrant art community at this extraordinary event.
This exhibit will be located in the expansive gallery at

Judges:
“Caroline Walker is an interdisciplinary artist who explores the intricacies of human connection through a variety of mediums. Her work is shaped by over 20 years of experience in digital art direction from her previous career in advertising, allowing her to blend traditional art techniques with digital technology. This fusion creates pieces that engage with themes of empathy and understanding, aiming to connect with viewers on a personal level.
Her body of work includes wood and metal sculptures, photo-composites, augmented reality, and social practice projects, each chosen for its ability to communicate complex emotions and ideas. Caroline’s artistic exploration is driven by a curiosity about the human experience, using her art as a bridge to foster connections among people. Originally from the Midwest, Caroline spent most of her adult life in New York City before setting up her studio in 2015 in the creative hub of Austin, where she currently resides and works.”
Looking forward to this! Thanks!!Caroline Walker (She/Her)

Martha Kull
Throughout her life, Martha has always had a passion for art and revels in the feel of
working with paints, pens, pencils, and other art mediums. Many of her childhood
memories involve drawing and painting and pretending to be an artist. However, she felt
better able to support herself via less artistic pursuits. After working for 30+ years in
high tech, she retired and is now pursuing her childhood dream of being a visual artist.
Martha finds beauty and inspiration for her art in her surroundings, both natural and
man-made. She is primarily a self-taught artist who draws on her life experiences and
has taken a variety of art classes most recently at the Contemporary Art School at
Laguna Gloria.
She is currently member of the Creative Arts Society, the Williamson County Art Guild,
and the Baca Center Art Club. She also is co-chair of the team that curates the exhibits
at JGallery at Shalom Austin and has conducted art workshops at Shalom Austin and
Temple Beth Shalom.

Maximum weight is 25lbs for 2D. See video for hanging requirements and wiring guidelines CLICK HERE.

Quilts must have a sleeve with a rod or slat for hanging. Most pieces will have to hang from one hook. TXST has a limited number of wires w/hooks. Quilts do not require D-rings, but need to have hardware that works with a hook.

At TXST, because no one is there to monitor the show, we will have signage that says to contact the artist to transact a sale of the art in the exhibit. It is up to the artist to make the sale, collect the sales tax, make the donation to Round Rock Arts (if you indicated to do so), and schedule an exchange of the art piece with the collector after the exhibition is closed. The artist is expected to report income to the IRS. RRA is not liable for any unpaid income taxes.
If sold:
- A buyer may not pick up the work until art pick up date/time as stated in the call.
- The buyer is expected to pick up the work at the pick up day and times OR the artist will need to make other arrangements between buyer and artist.
