Meet our Volunteer Curator
Dr. Lisa Starnes
Dr. Lisa Starnes is curator for the Round Rock Arts gallery at the J.B. & Hallie Jester Williamson County Annex. She has had a passion for art since childhood and ended her 45-year career as an educator with seven years of teaching art. Lisa has lived in four other countries and traveled in over 20 others, viewing, collecting and learning new art in her travels. She does many kinds of art but telling stories with fiber art is her passion. She is combining her skills as an early childhood educator and art educator to share art experiences with children in the Round Rock area. She is expanding her art experience with her new role as an exhibit curator, giving back to the art community with the dedicated team at Round Rock Arts.
